Bob Arzt, CLU, ChFC, LLIF Bio/Resume
Bob is president of InsuranceCoachU. He coaches insurance professionals who want to achieve more in their business and personal life. His company specializes in partnering with individuals and companies in the Financial Services Industry to increase sales, customer loyalty, producer retention, and personal productivity. Bob brings 30 years of experience in these areas.
After a successful career in insurance sales, Bob was the VP of producer and manager training and development departments in several Fortune 500 insurance companies. Bob was appointed General Manager of The American College LUTC program. As General Manager, Bob provided direction and management oversight in support of LUTC's online training, association marketing, and company and custom programs.
A graduate of the University of Hartford, Bob began his life insurance career with The Northwestern Mutual in 1976 and was a multi-year member of the Million Dollar Roundtable. He was named Northwestern Mutual Life's New Agent of the Year, and was a multi-year recipient of both the National Quality Award and the the National Sales Acievement Award.
Bob is a past member of the New England Training Directors Association (Hall of Fame recipient), ASAE and the Center for Association Leadership, and the Financial Services Marketing Association (Board member). Bob has contributed articles to several publications, including Advisor Today, Super Annuity Producer, Producers Web, and the GAMA International Journal. A seasoned presenter, Bob has spoken nationally on goal setting, training, and leadership at company and insurance industry meetings and conventions.
When not coaching, Bob enjoys spending time with his family, reading, bicycling, kayaking, and roller-blading. Bob also volunteers as a Docent at the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C., and would invite any of his clients to a special VIP Highlights tour of the museum, when visiting the Washington, D.C. area. In addition, Bob volunteers to tape record articles from the Air and Space Magazine through the Smithsonian’s Voices To Access program.
